Overall, the movie is not bad, but it's not great either. Same level of plot holes and inconsistencies as the Bay movies, but the Action is subdued and more boring, but they don't lean into the fan service enough either. So what you end up with is a really boring movie that plays it safe with barely any flash, but keeps many of the flaws the more flashy and action packed transformers movies have, such as the villains being non distinct and many of the actual transformers having little-no screen time.
