As I recall, this was your 8PM every Tuesday night. It was never meant to be a serious show, and that was it's appeal, and it often reflected the trends of the mid-80s along the way - the "yuppie culture", BMWs, car phones, etc. A few years ago, I watched the first couple of seasons, and I still liked it. I always thought the show, Ally McBeal picked up the same "vibe" in the 90s.
