Meagan Richards-Boeff

I am a HUGE JJ Abrams fan and this movie was so disappointing. Worst of the sequels. In trying to please everyone, the story is reduced to 5 minutes of every fan service imaginable. The result is a film that feels hollow as it frantically jumps from scene to scene to check every box while never allowing time for any characters to have an arc or shine. The scenes with the late Carrie Fisher felt particularly wooden and shoe-horned in. More could have been made of her part with less screen time. Which is really the story with the entire movie.
