Me and my beloved family can't hardly wait to gather round the hearth with our matching pajamas and hot cocoa (which aunt Imogen always spices up and we all pretend to not know) to watch this wonderful film every Christmas eve. It may not win an Oscar or even be good, but it always pulls at just the right heart strings. You know what's going to happen from the first 5 minutes, so you just settle in with your snuggie and 3 dogs and enjoy the ride. Cheesy in all the right spots and you get to hear Dolly Parton sing. There are better Christmas films you could watch, but you'll find yourself wishing that Dolly was there.
