The film exhibits moments of humor, though I anticipated a more pronounced inclusion of jump scares, given the franchise's reputation. While I didn't experience the entirety of the game series, I was aware of its intended jump-scare elements. While I do not harbor disdain for the film, there is room for improvement in its narrative execution. The anthropomorphization of the animatronics, for my taste, introduced an element that diverged from the source material. I believe a more faithful adaptation in this regard would enhance the overall viewing experience.
