This is the worst POS I've ever sat through. I'm actually angry it wasted two hours of my life. How can the same guy who made The Godfather make something so idiotic as this? There's a reason nobody would fund it or distribute it. Talk about a vanity project on crack. Whoever says they enjoyed this turd is either high AF or lying for the attention. Not one redeeming quality. Worst effing movie ever. Worst anything ever. I hate all movies now. Stop directing Francis, you're embarrassing yourself.

I'll always be a fan/defender of Snyder. Always. But even I have to admit that he is now, in my eyes, using way too many slow motion shots. The first hour was just a series of slow motion montages of the villagers harvesting. Not exaggerating. He used a 30 second slow mo shot to show someone filling up their canteen. That's where I drew my line. The second hour was the battle sequence. Basically the only action sequence longer than a minute. But it was awesome! I'm definitely noticing a trend with directors I'm a fan of taking that Netflix money and turning into Michael Bay. Hopefully they let him finish his trilogy but I don't think even Netflix will shell out more cash for another one. Too bad, it could've redeemed the the whole thing.

Not good. I'm always weary of PG-13 horror flicks and this one is no different. IMHO all horror flicks should be rated R. But they couldn't call it a suspense flick because there literally was no suspense. Not a thriller for the same reason. I agree with one reviewer who said it was more of a family drama. Couple of jump scares which could've been mildly effective if not for the fact they already showed them in the trailer so I knew they were coming. One note story, backstory should've been expanded upon and it would've been so much better. All the actors gave it their best but had nothing to work with . And I almost paid $30 to buy this, thankfully waited for it to stream on Peacock.
