Much better than the critics will admit. Horror doesn’t mean it has to be constant fear or slasher or torture porn. The third film dials back the dread and admits what fans have always known- this is a love story. The story is much better as a result, and regardless of whether you vibe with it, it is well made and at the least good. I feel it’s the best of the main three and certainly my favorite.

This movie had some excellent acting and literary themes. I wasn’t expecting much and was pleasantly surprised. First time in a long time I didn’t figure out the twist (don’t look it up) in the beginning.

Exceptional on all fronts. Yes it is “talkie”, but not compared to anything British or European.

Very, very entertaining. Don’t listen to reviews that didn’t watch it through. Solid production all the way around. Could I nitpick at procedural things they did ( like police and /or medical) sure, but I’ve seen far worse from critical darlings. This is very bingeworthy.

Yes, it is that well done. And that long.
