“Manchester by the Sea” is somehow the most gut wrenchingly heartbreaking yet beautiful film I have ever watched. If you are looking for a film to make you ugly cry, yet appreciate the beautiful things that life has to offer, this is the one. A sorrowful storyline paired with brilliant acting performances by the entire cast make for an abundantly watchable film. It’s not a lighthearted watch, but it’s worth it by all measures.
