Who is this for? Not kids, they don't care about b/w tv throw backs and cheesy jokes about how to please your husband from a magazine (yes they did spend screen time trying to make that funny). Not my grandparents they also dont care about b/w tv enough to want to see it recreated. And they certainly couldn't care abt MCU. So is this for the wide middle? The idea being if you like Avengers enough to follow the backstory of two of them and never got enough I Love Lucy? That's an extremely focused group they are going for and the only audience that might ever want to watch this.
