Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is an amazing ride you will never want to end. First of all, the visuals are spectacular. The comic style, with gorgeous colors and amazing detail, was definitely a risk as it has never really been done before. But that risk certainly paid off. The visuals never get old. It’s impossible to get bored or used to them, even after multiple viewings, as each and every frame could have come straight from a comic book. The vivid colors and amazing artistry will draw the viewer in and keep them in. This movie isn’t just pretty to look at though. There is a real story with heart and soul- it’s more hard to find that these days- and it has characters that are both relatable and interesting. Though a few of the characters may not be as fleshed out as one would like, they still have personality, character, and demention. The story is both exciting, funny, heartbreaking, and touching. Some scenes will give you chills, and that is in part thanks to the soundtrack. The music fits well with both the feeling of the film and the style of the characters. The songs and score fit perfectly with the tone of the scenes they’re played in and work to further draw in the viewer. Overall, with down to earth characters, beautiful visuals, and a great story, Into the Spider-Verse is an unforgettable and timeless film that will never cease to amaze.
