The film would been a flop without Ranveer Singh as allaudin.The hype and publicity aka karni Sena was purposely created to fuel this film. Shahid Kapoor is the dumbest and clumsiest in the film. Aditi Rao Hydari portrayed her role beautifully.

Very real and beautifully portrayed. The makers have kept the story real not like the other serial which change the history according to the Trp. Rukaiya begum is my favorite character.
