If you're looking for a truly scary movie in the vein of "Halloween" or "Terrifier"this is not it. That said this film is supremely if not bizarrely entertaining. So much so that it's easy to overlook it's flaws & rather go along with it for its sheer originality alone. DEFINITELY not your average horror comedy, " The Funhouse Massacre" is neither but the comic banter & the films overall jokey tone actually works. You won't be scared but you won't be bored either. All the usual suspects are here being killed off one by one but these standard-issue teens in trouble do a fair enough job to keep the movie interesting & it looks great for a B-movie calling to mind movies like "Scream" & "I know what you did last summer" with a more comic bent. It should at least achieve cult status over the next 20 years & while not for everybody I enjoyed it without too much judgement or expectations. Bloody Good Fun is the best way I'd describe it. Let the credits roll for a minute for a surprise at the ending. It's a definite YES for me.
