I think Dear Santa is one of the WORST MOVIES I EVER SAW! Other than Jack black it was terrible acting and I did NOT like the message!
Basic when a young boy mails his letter to Santa clause, with on crucial spelling error a devilish Satan come to read havoc on his holidays.
I was really excited about the movie and had high hope for it, but I was REALLY disappointed when I saw it.
1. Maybe it's just me but this movie was very slow moving and I like the more fast pace and exciting movies.
2. Part of the reason I was excited to watch this was because I thought it was going to be funny and really, the only funny part was when "Satan" (Who was played by Jack black) was in hel! and talked with the real Satan in that movie.
3. The main character ( which was Liam) was ONLY IN 6TH GRADE also he's 11!! He is way to young to kiss a girl, let alone go to a Post Malone concert! Like, what kind of parents would let their 11 year old kid go with a total stranger without getting the phone number, and without fully meeting him. I mean like, have they HEARD of kidnapers? And, later in the movie the parents were talking about Liam's little brother Spencer who died because it had something to do with how they were watching him when he was playing outside. You would think that they cared a little more about their child's safety now that one of them died! Not to be disrespectful to anyone but that's how I feel.
4. Like nothing in this movie made sense but the thing that made the less sense to me was at the end of this movie. When you get to about the end of this movie fake Satan (again, played by jack black) granted his last wish. And when Liam wakes up in the morning and goes down stairs to open presents he see's his little brother Spencer who, if you read all of this, died. You might think this is cute but you come to find out that his family doesn't remember his death but his friend does and Liam does. Like WHAT?? It makes no sense. Also, If you seen the movie you know that fake Satan gets banished from hel! but he still has the authority to bring people back to life?!
I was truly disappointed when I saw this movie and I wish
that I hadn't seen it at all.
