I think a freeroam Loz game is very unique! itś fun to have to search for everything you want or need! and the tech OH DONT GET ME STARTED! everything is so well put together! and, well, it has JUST what I want! ANY OTHER WEAPON THAN A SWORD! we have swords, clubs, mining equipment, hammers, axes, spears, heavy weapons, bows, bombs, magic rods of wizards, electric/ice/fire weapons, claymores, magnets (if you use magnesis right hehe), Stasis (stop time and send em flying), clothes that up your damage(not a weapon but still just as useful for using them), boomerangs, BONES, farming equipment, random objects, a leaf for gods sake, halberds, knives(basically), and some other things I can't say off the top of my head. and you can even use FOOD!!! what game can you use food and make the most amazing sounding and looking meals that can even give you buffs?! LALALALA I CAN'T HEAR YOU OVER MY PASSION FOR THIS GODFORSAKEN GAME. I love this game, it brought me so much nostalgia to watch the cutscenes in master mode, and speaking of, that part is TOUGH and I LOVE it. not only this, but once you beat the game and feel empty inside, knowing the game is over, you can always resort to, and I will not promote nor demote the use of, breaking the game, which to me made me feel quite empty when I had all the weapons I could ever ask for with unbelievable durability, but hey, it's fun to see what you can and can't do to bend the game to your will. but the trial of the sword is garbage. unless you're good, like, REALLY GOOD, it's extremely hard to beat with progressively harder enemies and even worse for master mode, all enemies heal over time, and it's just... jeez, it's way too difficult. other than that, it's amazing what you can do. you can stylize your gameplay, do what you want, you don't even have to do the base story if you don't want to- though the champion abilities are extremely useful, some for some things, others for others. Mipha's grace is good for when you're extra clumsy and bold but weak, healing you completely and giving you temporary hearts, with a little, "It is my pleasure" when she does it. 10/10 best dead fish girl. Daruks Protection is for when you're in an extremely tough battle and are overwhelmed by powerful enemies, you just focus on an enemy and suddenly you're protected from all attacks before it breaks after three consecutive hits. Urbosa's Fury is a great way to damage and stuns your enemies, keeping them "still" for a maxim of 10 to 15 one-sixtieths of a minute of time, which as the SI unit of time is defined in terms of the natural periodicity of the radiation of a cesium-133 atom. so you can steal their items, rack up massive combo attacks, or even just run. Revali's gale is just really helpful for travel. but put them all to use and boom, you have the "best link" there could be. oh, and did I forget to mention MOTORCYCLE???? after beating the champion's ballad, you are gifted your own Divine Beast, which is a Unicorn Themed Motorbike commonly known as the Master Cycle Zero, a cool name for a cool mode of transport. shame it can't do much and requires fuel. but that's beside the point. if you consider this to be the perfect game for you, that's great! if you absolutely hate it and wish it never existed, rethink it. linearity is dull. everyone can be creative.
