a movie about tennis is surprisingly still boring, who guessed? SPOILER-FREE short and sweet critiques: 1. all 3 characters lacked DEVELOPMENT. i cant tell you any of their motivations for any of their actions besides the most surface level observations we were provided. 2. the cinematography was great! really awesome shots that i'd never expect from a tennis movie. 3. music and dialogue were clashing at parts making it difficult to understand characters. 4. poor use of flashback scenes, was a repetitive tool used incorrectly by the director which made for a confusing storyline. i would give it 0 stars if i could, but +1 just for Zendaya.
