I dont why people are finding the father amusing. He is nothing but an uptight snob who does not believe in respecting other cultures ( eg: wont remove shoes at the shrine in the very first episode). I also dont understand why every body is berating the son. I mean sure he is behaving like an I'll mannered adolescent but he is behaving like the way he would on his "gap year". Now his choice of companion for this kind of travel is definitely wrong. But I think finally the father is getting to see the wrong upbringing with this kind of behaviour of the son. All in all, this isnt a travel series, it's more like one of those live reality shows where everybody is acting up for higher TRP!
