As a long-time viewer of Jeopardy, I have been impressed by the clues offered and by the abilities of many contestants to formulate their responses in Question format.
However... of late, I have become acutely aware of clue abstractness and in many cases the complete absurdity of topic and content... where full categories are left unsolved by relatively clever opponents.
In my most humble opinion, it's time time to rethink these obscurities and return to clues that those of us (viewers) having moderate to higher intelligence can once again enjoy the cut-and-thrust of this game... instead of subjecting us to this continuous drivel, as your writers attempt to re-invent the proverbial wheel.
Before losing your ratings completely, the time to take action is now!
Thank you for this opportunity to express my views here.
