Lisa Laventure

This movie was a hoot. While watching it we periodically (and quite often) shouted out what movie a plot line (or dialog line) it imitated. Some aspects were Armageddon, Independence Day, Speed, Gravity... You get the picture. It was borderline spoofy. As far as the acting goes, not Halle Barry's best work, and the kids could have done better, although it was hard for us layfolk to discern where the fault lay: directing, acting, writing... The soundtrack at times was optimistic with its majesty. I personally don't like being told how I should be feeling by grandiose music.
