It's got the cheesy music, the magical Christmas feel, the romantic story, and I'd always thought that was enough for a Netflix Christmas movie... yet it's pretty awful. In fact, I feel like the movie's message was that it was trying to show how a theist and an atheist in a relationship can come about to make a relationship work or not work, all under the guise of a Christmas metaphor. Also, the two main actors had zero chemistry, or charisma. I made it to an hour in, then I realized I was losing time I'll never get back again, and gave up.

This game is simply a MASTERPIECE. I've played almost every Zelda game, but this just easily steals the title of best game. It's just... deep, epic, melancholic, dark, emotive, moving, huge... actually ordinary words can't do it justice, The story, pacing (okay, barring the opening sequence), the journey, it's just on another level. It just completely transcends anything else. I hope so, so much that they remaster this game and put it on the Switch 2 when that comes out so it can reach a brand new audience because this game seriously deserves more love. I can't even tell you my favourite part of this game, it really is all of it. The dungeons, characters, music, side games, the wolf mechanic, it's just all so phenomenal. It's just a life changing game. Play it!!

I’ve played almost every single title, and all 2D games except the first two SNES titles. Minish Cap is easily the second best 2D Legend of Zelda game after Link’s Awakening. It’s cute, colourful and endearing. The music is adorable and lively, too. The kinstones gimmick makes backtracking fun and changes the world around you. Shrinking down in size makes the world feel larger and opens up new areas. You meet cute characters including animals! The side quests are challenging and rewarding, but not impossible without a guide. The world feels alive and rich. It’s just wonderful escapism, and the story doesn’t get dark like many titles, which I appreciate in these troubled times. You won’t regret playing this game!
