I truly didn't think that movies with this level of casual racism, sexism and Islamophobia could get green-lit anymore. Seriously??! From Nick Cannon's character being introduced dressed like a 1970's pimp, to them infiltrating the fictional middle eastern country called 'Jazeristan' to Pierce Brosnan's character weirdly asking the sole female member of the team if she joined because 'she can't find a date' before creepily hitting on her, the Hollywood bro was strong with this film. I can only imagine what it must be like to live with the type of privilege where your microaggressions towards POC, women and Muslims are dismissed as 'funny' (can't people just take a joke??) Absolute garbage. Liked all the actors, but will be actively avoiding the writers and director of this movie in the future.
