Adding my first ever review because the low rating is really unfortunate and undeserved. Watched it on a whim with my 10 year old son and we loved it! Beautifully animated (with some awesomely creative visuals) fun plot and lots of comic relief that had my kiddo in stitches. Gave me a fair bit to think about as a parent and our expectations for our kids. The crush plot is so secondary that it’s almost a “blink and you’ll miss it” storyline. Happy that it’s there to help normalize all types of teenage crushes (however implicitly) It seems that who are offended by it are just looking for a reason to be outraged… and to vent their spleen on an otherwise heartwarming movie.
