If you like the first game it’s just like that but with some new added features. I do enjoy it but I am so glad I got it for free on psn premium. I wouldn’t want to spend $60 for this game. If you find it on discount and played the remake, I’d say go for it.

I love Gundam and I love Gundam games, so seeing a semi realistic look into the gundam warfare that you see in the anime got me hooked right away. But playing the game for as long as I have I am ranked Major 24 in the game now and it still suffers from a lot of issues from when I started. The player base and player behavior is bad. You have people rage quitting if the game is already siding towards the enemies and people who just give up late in the game even though there is a chance to turn things around. There are also those that if you pick an underused mobile suit someone on your team will see it, already decide you’re going to be bad at it or lose the game for them that they will leave and reset the lobby. Balancing in the game is also a problem. The meta runs the game and for new players who do not have meta mobile suits well, I don’t see them lasting long playing this game. Tutorial does little to nothing to allow new players an idea of what to expect in the actual game. Sure, they’ll be fighting others who are also new based on the rank system but the moment they get into higher ranks they will be fighting a massive uphill battle and skill gap. To make matters worse, it’s the online connection. You have to have at least hardwire connection to run an online game perfectly and even then you can still suffer from lag. It’s not your fault, it’s theirs. I been playing with wifi connection and I just recently got banned for 2 days because I got disconnected from two separate games based on connection. Other online games I have do not do this, just this one. The online servers are garbage and could potentially be off putting to further or keep on playing this game. Trust me, this ban has brought me closer to deleting this game. I had to go out of my way to setup an extender and wire into my PS4 so this situation doesn’t happen again. So be warned for connection issues and being banned when it isn’t even your fault. It’s a free gacha game where you can collect, in my opinion, realistic looking mobile suits from the Gundam universal century. For others who enjoy Gundam I’d say maybe hold off on this one and either play an older single player Gundam game or wait for the next Gundam game. If you want to try this pretty hard multiplayer arcade game with connection issues then go for it but you may have to dish out some money in order to get up to speed with everyone else and may have to look into hardwire internet into your PS4 in order to not suffer from disconnections.
