I absolutely loved this movie, was so surprised. I walked in thinking about how I wasn't going to like it due to all the hate online and people bashing it, but I promised myself that it wouldn't deter me from still going to see it and giving it a chance. Now, usually, I don't get emotional with movies, specifically ones in the theatre, I almost sobbed. I'm pretty sure someone was genuinely crying too. I know that it's a played-up trope but I'm a sucker for this kind of story so I let it slide. Contrary to what the ads portray romance is not even the major key part of the movie, family relationships are. Which made me pleasantly surprised, since I felt it saved the movie from my disdain. I would absolutely recommend it, don't let people sway you from going to see it for yourself. :]
