Conor Carver

I know it sounds crazy to give 5 stars just for one character, but for coronation street I will make an exception. DAVID PLATT!!! He is the best soap character (tied with Phil Mitchell) in my opinion. They have written him perfectly, there has never been one second where I thought they did something that they didn’t have to with him or I found his presence boring, and I don’t think I ever will. His family (Gail, Sarah, Bethany, Shona, martin, Bethany) is the most entertaining on the street. Not to mention he is played by one of the greatest living actors, Jack p Shepard, who is up there with the greats such as heath ledger, micheal Caine, Tom Hank’s, Christian bale Morgan Freeman. So incredibly underrated, I use his acting techniques during my drama and theatre performances which get me higher marks. Thank you jack p Shepard! The day that David platt dies is the day that I will stop watching Corrie. I kinda hope he does tbh so that jack p Shepard can go onto doing bigger projects, similar to what Lucy fallon is doing. He definitely has the skills and potential to do so, he’s a born actor.

Fantastic show, good characters, good story, good time setting, good horror. it’s all just great.
