I am rating this movie with 2 perspectives.
One as a fan of Nolan, who is interested in the world of Physics, and another as a common movie goer.
As the former, this movie gave me immense pleasure. It was great to see legends of Physics like Einstein, Oppenheimer, Szilard, Fermi, Feynman, Teller, Bethe, etc.. of whom we had only heard/read as actual human beings on the screen.
The movie was very captivating, the storylines were very intensely held, the screenplay was gripping and it took me back to the times of the WWII.
As a latter and as one that doesn't have the knowledge of the contemporary world of Physics in the 1930s-40s, the movie does not hold my attention.
The back and forth from the 1950s t0 30s and 40s got tiring. The ending was very un-Nolan like, and I was left high and dry. I was expecting an crescendo, which never came.
All of this being said, I will watch this movie again and hope to revisit this review having done so.
In all, a solid 4 of 5. Was hoping for a 5/5.
