Serena Potter

This is an excellent Legal Drama. It exposes the ugly side of our system, but balances it with hope. The acting is great. It is based on current times and situations. The covid lockdown episode Season 1 - episode 21, was masterful.

It was inspirational and yet disheartening. I did not know the back stories to these candidates and really appreciated learning more about these women who were will to put themselves forward and take risks. We need to hear these stories. We need to support more candidates like these. This is where hope lies.

These mini episodes follow one couples journey through marriage counseling. We see their weekly conversations in the pub/coffee shop before going into their session. They are both poignant, funny, insightful, at times a little heart breaking and then joyful. The acting in both seasons is excellent. This is a quiet, thoughtful, character driven show. It’s pretty brilliant writing.
