Zero character development, goes on, and on, and on the screenplay was never developed to do justice to the incredible book. People are sheep and jump to praise anything Scorsese he does without thinking for themselves. I walked out after two hours. And yet there was still another 1.5 hours to go. Also, what is the obsession with Jesse Plemons? He plays the same exact character in every single movie. Which is not acting, he’s just playing himself. Yet every casting Director seems to have to throw him into a movie to make it “cool”? Its not. Its just Follow what the sheep are all doing. Barf.
