I love this author but this book is awful. The characters are unlikeable, the hero is an ugly, terrible person and the heroine is a brat. I enjoy the way it is written, as I find with most of McNaught’s work… but this book was an absolute let down

This movie rocked. I do however completely see how the creative directing could be lost on a lot of people. It reminded me a lot of “Donny Darko” in how it’s just very ‘out there’ and has a lot of moments where you expect parts of the movie to be a dream or pretend, but in fact, are intentional. The movie has a super simple plot and the director’s creative choices really are what makes it interesting. Adam Sandler did a hell of a job in his performance and I would recommend this movie to anyone with an artistic bone in their body.
