Thank God I’m not alone after reading many other reviews. I hate abandoning books, but I got to page 50 and I just couldn’t do it anymore. I feel zero attachment to any of the characters, and the storyline is just slow and patchy. Usually I would wait for it all to come together, but I just can’t with this one. I loved Everything I Never Told You, but you would think a totally different author was writing this book.
