Little to no plot, nothing about the history of how the war started, it was almost over when the movie was shot. Literally almost no character development. Dunst didn't say 50 words the whole movie. The action scenes were good. And rural America made you think about "what it might be like" but this needs to be redone into a series. From the beginning of just after the war starts. To the end. New cast. Better actors(actresses) and more time to bring some reality to the viewer about what this would mean for Americans.

For B movie actors and a low budget.. Wrong.. Yeah.. What a phenomenally executed movie.. The only reason i don't give it 5 stars is because the plot twist, the idea, isn't original, but never been done with a "4th encounter" kind of "evil" motive . Really hits home on the true evil that lurks around any corner of humanity. This is a sci-fi movie but the heart of the movie is a real life drama that too many families have to endure.. Well done.
