The old show (The Amazing World of Gumball) was amazing and I binge watch it a TON! It had funny humor and gags at the perfect timing in each episode and interesting storyline and each episode was unique, relatable, and rewatchable. This new series (The Wonderfully Weird World of Gumball) has really great animation, decent storylines/plot, and the voice actors are incredible. But…it does have a huge downside at least for me. The humor. What made the old show even more spectacular was the humor. This new series humor is fine….but sometimes it seems out of place/not needed/forced, and the humor seemed really dumbed-downed for a more younger audience (potty humor, etc). It’s a fine show, just feels like it could be better.
