I have been watching Coronation Street for many years - extremely talented actresses and actors. I do find the fickle nature of the characters frustrating, the quick tempers and mean comments made between longtime friends. The women seem to be particularly quick to judge and nasty. For example Robert, for the most part a pretty great guy, just helped Michelle's son going cold turkey kicking drugs, turned against like a viper, close friends not even grieving his death partying it up New Year's Eve - not even a funeral????? Us viewers really do become attached to the characters due to their excellent performances .....having said all that .....keep up the good work!!!! I will be a forever faithful Canadian follower. Love the wry sense of humour. Cheers, Diane
