Die-hard Marvel fan here…but I must say….I feel like Disney/Marvel is really taking advantage of their fanbase with their latest movie offerings. The same thing happened with the Star Wars franchise, so maybe it’s Disney?). I understand that even the comic books get out there a little with their plot, characters, and stories but the sheer silliness of these movies has gotten out of control. The intentional insertion of corny jokes that are slapstick and predictable. Regardless of the plot hole or situation, there’s always something to conveniently resolve it even if it’s ridiculous in nature. I.E. Having Darin Cross has a giant head?…people in the theatre were laughing, not because it was funny, but because it was so ridiculous. Ants with “a thousand years of technology” that conveniently save the day. Janet Van Dine with all of these secrets about mysterious people…it’s insulting that they deliver these kind of movies. Unintelligent. Sub-par. Simply below what you’d expect. Do not waste your time or money on this.
