Inane droning on about pastures, changing diapers and coffee just to name a few of the meaningless topics written about in this book that had nothing to do with the actual story. The author clearly believed that everyone was interested in or was familiar with British colloquialisms which were highly distracting from the wordy story. If she were just writing for a British audience then ok but it was ridiculous. Such a painful waste of time. Don’t bother unless you goal in reading is frustration and boredom.
