This book is ridiculous. Seriously. No mourning of the husband the wife discovered hanging over her beloved piano which is supposed to be explained when she found out he fathered a child with another woman. He left her basically penniless but she moves to Folly Beach to the aunt that raised her and her sister after her parents died. From there the first day maybe three weeks after her husband died she meets the love of her life. Immediately dates him although he is married to a woman with a mental illness that tried to kill him and is in a mental hospital. Very long story short she writes an award winning play , the aunt is rich due to owning vacation homes and she learns she will inherit everything and most convenient the new love of her life wife dies of pancreatic cancer leaving him free to marry her. When asked for how her beloved will handle arraignments for his wife he tells her he asked she be cremated and he will put her ashes in a closet until he figures out what to do with them.
Being recently widowed I found this book horribly inconsiderate, ridiculously convenient and the the worst book I have ever read.
