I like Hannah’s novels and The Four Winds didn’t disappoint. While it was very informative to me as a non- American, I felt it mirrored what Steinbeck already covered, too similar but can excuse if historically accurate.
Felt the final stages of the book were miserable and overdone. However I would recommend.
