This movie explores the deeper connection in relationships well beyond the surface. It explores the unsaid tends to build to a feverish pitch can cause resentment in relationships. It started as a little argument about forgetting to thank Marie in his acceptance speech to exploring the deeper meaning of feeling unappreciated, unwanted and undervalued. Zendaya and John David Washington dug deep to bring “authenticity” and believability I was able to identify with immediately! I loved that the characters allow themselves to go there but their love for each kept them in the same room so to speak! Must see! Great movie and the actors were great!
