It's a little different than old school pokemon games. However, that is not a bad thing. I think that it could use a little more content. That said, it's a great game and it has something new that other pokemon games are missing. DLC. Downloadable content means that developers get to expand the world and create new areas with new pokemon as the life of the Switch goes on. The possibilities are endless. Despite its (to me) minor drawbacks, its a great game with massive potential for growth.
