Jack Reacher fans will always look forward to his next adventure ,as a fan myself I always anticipate a good story .While Blue Moon is ok it would suit someone who had never read any of the previous books ,I think fans of Lee Child expect every book to be 10 out of 10 so when it does not measure up to the high standards his other books have reached there is a sense of being let down .I know now why Lee Child is looking at killing off Jack Reacher ,I get the feeling he has run out of original ideas ,also you can only do so many flash back stories to keep the fans interested .As Jack always seems willing to help any Tom Dick or Harriet who gets into trouble ,it would be great if he dies saving the life of the Queen in a Day of the Jackel type of scenario. That would be a fitting end to a great character and set the story in the U.K. and to pay homage to Lee Childs upbringing .
