An infuriatingly slow game with ages of potential but no real bite. A bit confused as to why the entire point of the game is mudding and off-roading, yet you need to put a solid 30 hours in just to be able to use off-road and mud tires? The campaign has you running around non stop and has some fun activities at the expensive of actually being able to complete them within reasonable time and effort. If you manage to struggle your way through the first 20% of the game, you will swiftly be rewarded with glitches and bugs. Whether its quest items like the White Western Star getting glitched INSIDE of rocks, a simple road sign turning into a wall, or your truck may go AFK while you twittle your thumbs like a jack***. They really had a great formula with Mudrunner, but its apparent they've stepped a bit out of their comfort zone with Snowrunner. Once you stop asking yourself why it takes three attempts and a whole day to complete literally a single entry-level task, you might hit that bliss spot this game hides all too well. The season pass does displace some solid content and aids the game well. The $4 Apache is a bit lackluster, while the Western Star 49 is the definition of a worthy solo DLC. However I would highly suggest not paying full retail for this game.
