I really wanted to give Home Sweet Home Alone a try, mainly because I enjoy the other Home Alone movies, however, the movie isn't great in fact it's not even good. I found the character, Max, to be very annoying and the story just feels really weird and just really leaves a very bad taste in my mouth, most of the acting comes off more annoying than anything else. I tried watching it three times over (stopping the film and then trying to give it another chance) and couldn't finish it because the overall movie just really annoyed me. I feel like they were just trying to cash in on the Home Alone name, but did not do it justice at all, and that really did upset me. I will say there is one point in the movie that was cool for those who are fans of the older movies, but I'm not going to mention it here for those who may want to watch the movie, but honestly, I would just stay clear of this film.
