Italian guy here, usually very keen on good British/Irish crime dramas, O-M-G this one was amazing, definitely in my top 3, I recently finished to watch it on ITVX, it's addictive like others have commented, chock full of twists & turns, I didn't want it to come to an end and was screaming for more after the last episode of series 5; if you like gritty crime dramas please do yourself a favour and pick up this one, as there's a lot to watch across various platforms and it's not always easy to decide what to go for. I'm currently watching Kin on BBC iPlayer, which I also recommend, it has some actors from Love/Hate.

Encouraged by the positive reviews, l decided to give this movie a go (currently available on the BBC iPlayer), l watched it in 3 parts, l appreciate it was made in the '70s but l found it very mildly interesting nonetheless and overall quite boring, it was maybe a thriller back then, today it's a drama at best. I do not recommend wasting time on this, unless you have SO much time at your disposal for watching movies that you can fit this into your schedule.

One of my favourite thrillers! It's seldom on TV but if you're reading this review and live in the UK, it's on Channel 4 tonight at 23:15 so don't miss it!

Randomly picked up on Netflix, it is a good movie but didn't find it amazing, maybe l shouldn't have watched it as l don't like Ben Affleck too much so my review is a bit biased but l thought, whatever, let's watch it anyway. Good cast, ok plot involving robberies, set in Boston so something different from the usual NY or LA setting. Overall good acting, however l found Ben Affleck's performance a bit lame, whereas Jeremy Renner's was much more enjoyable. Jon Hamm and the gorgeous Rebecca Hall were also pleasant to watch. Give it a go, you might like it.

I randomly picked up this movie on the BBC iPlayer, it seemed boring from the beginning but l decided to watch it till the end, it got more boring and a bit "disturbing", especially the hotel room scene. It was overall bizarre and sad to watch and l'm wondering what the film director was thinking when this was put together. All in all a complete waste of time and l strongly recommend anyone NOT to watch this movie, unless you want to go into depression.

I've just watched this movie and, apart from a few scenes which were very interesting and well shot, I found it overall not pleasant at all, slightly boring, strange at times, very sad, sick, slow, thought-provoking and disturbing, I continued watching it until the end but I could have stopped half way through or even before. Towards the end especially there are scenes about city riots, looting and attacks to the police, that the director seems to want to glorify, I personally hate seeing anarchist scumbags doing such things, hence one more reason why I disliked it. I had wanted to watch the movie with totally different expectations, I was very disappointed and feel it was a total waste of time. Don't bother spending your money to buy the dvd, try to watch it free if you must, I watched it on Amazon Prime 1st month free trial...and thank God for that!

I've just watched this on Netflix, chosen randomly as l sometimes prefer British and lrish movies as they seem more authentic than the usual American ones, l found it nice to watch, well directed and entertaining so overall l enjoyed it (but thank God it had subtitles ;)
