Entirely different screenplay than that of the previous CBI Series. CBI 5 succeeded to keep its legacy. Although direction won't make proportionate to the script and which may evoke a negative approach while watching the film. However the film reboot all the essence of the crime investigation thriller genre. Mammootty brilliantly portrayed SethuramaIyer CBI as before so also Mukesh as CBI Officer Chacko and the special appearance of Jagathy Sreekumar as CBI Officer Vikram brilliantly placed. While watching the film, the theme BGM of CBI brings out a nostalgic mood and of course a refreshing feel. Personally, I applaud S.N. Swamy for his excellent Story Sense and Script... Sure, CBI 5 really pull up all the CBI Series fancies to their optimum.

A different approach on the Vadakkan Pattukal (Northern Ballads) of North Malabar region in Kerala tells purposefully incorporating the base theme of William Shakespeare's play, Macbeth... Excellent director, Script, art work and acceptable technical work... The cast done their part very well... You won't regret to watch the film, which will be new cinematic experience to understand the replacement of time and period with multicultural incorporations.

Mamangam actually tells the story of the Chandroth family and their Chavers or the suicide squad, and of course, it's a historical period drama. However, History explained doesn't work fine in the film. Although special appreciation goes to director M. Padhmakumar, scriptwriter Shanker Ramakrishnan & producer Venu Kunnappilly. We can't expect more from the story, They had done their best on the plot. Mammootty outstandingly portrayed Chandroth Panicker, the Chaver. As well as master Achuthan as Chandroth Chanthunni and Unni Mukundan as Chandroth young Chaver done their part accordingly. Recommend to watch the film at the theatre itself.

Fantastic Thriller drama... A realistic approach, which discussed politics of Caste representation, Atrocities against Adivasis their politics, Native habitat, Election Sabotage and violences at rural remote areas of North Indian regions, as well as Discrimination and hierarchical conflicts in Force, Last Grade/non gazetted Officers burdens, Professional ethics... We can also witness the politics of family relationships, love, care, help for others... Khalid Rahman at the peak of his career as a professional film director, brilliant screenplay by the duo Khalid Rahman and Harshad... The film graced with technical assistance, especially cinematography, Sound, visual effects, Make up, Background music... Mammootty outstandingly portrayed the role of Sub Inspector Mani/Manikandan C.P. of Kerala Police, as well as the actors of Mani's Civil Police Officers group, like Shine Tom Chacko, Jacob Gregory, Arjun Ashokan, Rony David, etc done their roles at most sincerely. The film will provide cent- percentage realistic thriller experience, also exhibits humour space... Must watch it in theatres... Won't loose your money, that's deal.

First of all it's a Commercial film... Highly stardom, energetic, action thriller drama... Unique film from director Vysakh... Script packed with commercial entertainment elements and promises a sequel to the series... Mammootty at his peaks of stardom, exposed his flexibility and outstandingly personified the character Madura Raja... The rest cast performed their characters well... Special mention to Action Choreography and Visual effects... Those who interested in thriller action comedy drama can trustfully approach the film.

A biographical-political drama at its best. Mammootty just portrayed Y.S.Rajashekhara Reddy a.k.a YSR on Screen. Although for him its just like other characters (historical, epic, fictional) he done in past. However to those who know or close to YSR, Mammootty lives as YSR on Screen. Appreciation to writer and director Mahi V. Raghav, for his brilliance and won't let the audience disappointing and save a good time in theater. Must watch the film in Telugu itself. The film pointing, HOW TO BE A POLITICIAN, and HOW A POLITICIAN MEANT TO BE.
