Campaign is solid. Not groundbreaking like bo2, mw2 (original) or even cold wars but still a good time. The stealth in it feels really good, and I personally hate stealth. The mission at the black site, the trippy zombie level and hunting season are all fun levels with different routes and strats. Didn't finish it yet but so far, i like it. Solid 7 out 10. Zombies is back and the maps are good. Terminus is moody and has so many cool secrets like racing a boat, finding pirate treasure and the dialog between the crew, peck and Strauss is really funny. Liberty falls is my most played map in the game atm because of the amount of tiny things you can do and for being very straightforward and fun to grind camos on. But the later rounds are just brutal. Too many manglers and bulletsponge elite enemies. I was using the best shotgun in the game with max rairty and pack a punch level and it was a 3 shot headshot, with deadshot daiquir, on round 32. Like wtf? Rn, it's a 8.5 out of 10. Multi-player on the other hand, is probably the worst mp in a black ops game since probably bo3 when they add dlc guns via loot boxes. The sbmm is just unfair, horrible spawns, damage is very inconsistent, the maps are a mixed bag. Kinda like a roulette wheel of good and bad maps. This is a huge slap in the face to me personally because I liked the beta and had a ton of fun with it, but this mp is just flat out bad. It's like they knew the mp is bad because they are dropping nuketown on the 1st, but the problem is fortnite is dropping their new season the same day. So what was the point? The camo grind for it is very straightforward, but God it's annoying. You basically need to get headshots and that's basically it. Zombies has this problem to. 2000 for zombies and 100 for mp is ridiculous, especially considering how bad sbmm is in this game. Cold war had it but it felt balanced. This game says, nah and makes it unfair. I've had a .40 kd in one match because of campers and people. It's so bad I'm considering using bot lobbies or a VPN because of how bad the matchmaking is. Due yourself a favor, wait for treyarch to get their head in the game and fix the mp. Because this is straight trash. 5 out of 10. Update. The game has since gotten more updates and the mp is better now. About a 5 maybe 6. I have since finished the campaign and it's good but the ending was sorta lackluster. The spawns on mp and mangler spam on zombies is still really bad and the lag I experienced in zombies was bad. Still a decent game
