The dancing and singing, especially Jennifer, is so much better than the original. It’s a feel good musical and dancing extravaganza. The cats, for cat lovers, are life like. The older actors add a credence while the youngsters bring in fresh perspective and energy. I do not agree with the snobbish reviewers. It’s a good film and many worse ones haven’t received such a slating. Go see it and make up your own mind
