I think this is one of the best romantics I've come across. I really rooted for John. He is the best man anyone could ever come across. The epitome of a man. A good man. And he deserves the best, he got like 5% of what he deserved, he deserved a 100% and I hope he got it.
Diance was a good woman. The type of woman that can keep a man happy. This movie isn't about black or white it's about the grey, everything that life is, grey. No decision in life is about black or white and that's what the story portrayed, love and its side effects, struggles, problems, how one should be and feel and act like in love. To love is to let go and if they come back, it was meant to be.
I wasn't a fan of Murphy, don't even remember his first name o yes I wasn't a fan. He too was a great man but one that made mistakes and further worsened it, he was young, I understand and I know that he wouldn't ever repeat or even make mistakes again especially related to love. I bet john made his fair sahre of mistakes whne he was young which is what made him him. Both the male characters are the same words but in different fonts. And dance and her husband belonged together. They were invincible but they just needed time to fight it.
All in all, beautiful movie, beautiful cast, beautiful script and storyline, just beautiful is the word to describe it.
I really have nit watched something thus captivating and mesmerising in the longest time.this movie competes and wins against all the mainstream overhyped romantics like the notebook, etc.
The storyline was quite realistic and there was nothing extraordinary or fairytale like in it, except maybe for John but I'd like to think there's men like him and that ud end up with someone like him.
The ending where john let go so beautifully, it broke my heart when he said what he did and right when Diana realised he did it to let her go so did I, it was like I was living it. I wish he found what he was looking for, he deserves even better , I hope he married the chauffeur right hand lmao, he deserves john haha.
