I went to watch it with my 6 year old and both of us did not have a clear idea of what it was all about. We watched it yesterday and the movie stayed with us (we were talking about it this morning at breakfast). For me it was a sensible depiction of motherhood, the profound connection between mother and son and the key moments we experience together: raising a child, witnessing a child getting emotionally independent and finally accepting to say goodbye. I can comfortably share that more than once my son and I looked at each other in tears… Beautiful movie.
