Every time I try to vote for my favourites from my mobile it gives me a dead signal. This Time I decided to vote by phone and it said that lines are closed when they were announcing the numbers to vote. I am wondering if this is truly a public vote? Or is it rigged for a particular couple! I must say I am disappointed as I am in the U.K. and never been able to successfully vote and yes I do know how to use a mobile ad a landline before you ask! I have watched the show for many years but am becoming sceptical about how the final winner is chosen!

I watched todays Sunday Morning show and the storm around Rishi Sunaks wife’s Tax status. I thought the BBC ( usually my favourite channel) is having a field day with this non story. He and wife have not broken any laws. She has now opted for paying tax here going forward ( she doesn’t need to do that). They have worked and lived internationally so it is quite understandable that they have a more complex status. Holding on to Green card etc is another non story as many people have dual nationality if they have worked internationally. Many U.K. citizens living abroad have acquired dual nationality because of Brexit! I think he has done a great job holding up the economy despite Brexit, Covid and now the war in Ukraine. Getting at the chancellor’s personal life is not going to make things better. In fact it may have a negative effect if he walks away. I think we should allow him to focus on his job when we have so many problems including the health service which is in deep crisis.
