Brilliant stuff. I was expecting this to be a simple re-skin of FH4 with a new map. Turns out I was completely wrong. Very wrong. Sure, it does have the same features brought on from FH4, but at the same time...it is so different. Firstly, the map size and colours are incredible. The map feel really large, and I get the impression that the replayability will never disappear because of the views and locations you'll get to explore. Secondly, the handling feels improved, and the tyre smoke is perfect. Thirdly, the car sounds and pops are perfection. Fourthly, the game design overall is pure art. Unlike FH4, in this game, from the very intro, you can tell the developers really put their hearts into this. The dialogues and interaction between your character and the career characters really puts you into the world. You get a real feel of the environment and the atmosphere. It really engages you.
Lastly, the game celebrates the beauty and wonder of Mexico. I love how you get to go on "expedition trips". I have been to Mexico in the past, and I've visited Tulum and I must say, this game has caught my heart. Everything that is colourful and great about Mexico, is in the game. Even in the colourful UI. What a masterpiece.
