While I think it portrays some of the issues teens in Japan have (bullying, SA, etc.) the story was way fragmented and at times difficult to follow. And the movie shows some seriously disgusting scenes to the point when the twist at the end happened it was not very surprising. The movie was kind of draggy and sometimes I have to question the choice of shot. Having to read purely texts for 5 minute straight or a whole sequence just recorded on a camcorder, artistic choice aside, does not hide the fact it can be a bit jarring for the watcher at times. Soundtrack is pretty neat though
